Summer 2022 was the first time we nearly forgot about the pandemic situation, just to be reminded that hate, violence and annihilation still exist in some minds, causing a war in Europe.

Due to these circumstances it wasn’t easy to write those well known "light and easy" songs, which are part of the MurInsel series, but I intend to show that hope is still out there, and that we can make it right.

So by listening to these songs, I hope you can enjoy the rest of summer 2022 — healthy, in peace and freedom.

If "classic" electronic music (say, Berliner Schule) is your thing, this amazing compilation is a must have for an excellent value for money (and all proceedings will be donated to help victims of this summer's flood here in Germany). While pre-listening I might have checked about 10 tracks only one failing to impress me much. These other tracks are exactly how I love my ecletronic music: Relaxing the soul but engaging the mind (if that does make sense ;-) ). Carsten Pieper
